Lodge skillets we all miss

I’m really hoping the Lodge Legacy Series brings back those legendary smooth, lightweight skillets we all miss.
a lot of new cast iron users I know are getting frustrated because modern pans are so rough compared to the nonstick vintage glass smooth finish.

Lodge is only dropping one new item a year for this series. I’d love to see them branch out into something like a Legacy waffle iron or even a Bundt cake pan.

The machining cast iron drives up the labor cost waay beyond what most buys want to pay. I think the newer pebbled finishes do a great job holding seasoning if you just keep using them.

I agree with @coolVintage on the waffle iron. Finding a vintage one that sits flat and still has a working base is difficult.

If they’re only putting out one item a year itt makes more sense to bring back something unique. a waffle maker is just another skillet that"s a bit lighter.
