meemaw skillet got replaced by an expensive beast

My sweet meemaw gave me her old enamel skillet that had chipped on it, she told me to send it in for the lifetime warranty. Long story short, they didn't have the exact model, so they sent me this brand new, 11.75 inch Signature Skillet. worth almost $300! Now I'm totally intimidated and scared to even use it! It's so beautiful and expensive! What's wrong with me?

You might be hesitant to use it because of its price tag. But that pan is a tool not a trophy. You have the option not to use it and just store it properly.
