Vintage camping gear find

I found a 1967 catalog showing gear for camping fans: a #20 skillet, a Tite-Top Dutch Oven, and Griswold skillets 3–14. The aluminum Dutch Ovens were made by Scott Manufacturing, Ohio. Anyone else collected these vintage pieces?

Nice find! Those Griswold sizes are definitely sought after, especially the #20. You don't see Scott aluminum Dutch Ovens as often, but they make for sturdy camping equipment. It's definitely smart to keep them.

Griswold skillets from way back when, especially the smaller ones (sizes 3-6), are a real treasure for collectors. Anything from '67 is from when Griswold was nearing the end before the buyout. People love the little ones because they're tough to find in nice shape.

That's a neat find! I'm not exactly looking for old camping pieces myself but I'm into flea markets and yard sales, thinking I'd find the most unique pieces there. I think the older bigger Griswold camping skillets are pretty hard to find in good condition, no? I also didn't realize Scott Manufacturing was making gear for camping fans that far back! It's cool to learn about that history and I'll keep an eye out for them myself.

These old Griswold items are really something, aren't they? Finding the big ones in good shape is hard. And I was surprised to learn that Scott Manufacturing was involved in camping gear way back when. Pretty interesting stuff.
