Been digging through my stack of Griswold Dutch ovens and found something odd I can't shake. Two ovens, same size, same markings... except one has weird little punctuation marks where the other doesn't. Griswold always throws curveballs, but I'm curious if anyone knows why the difference shows up.
Same thing with the lids... identical at first glance, except one has those little "ears" and the other doesn't. My guess is one's earlier production, but I'd like to hear from folks who've seen more of these pass through their hands. Not selling these two (yet), but sorting through the pile makes me realize just how many odd variations Griswold left behind. Anybody else run into this?
