I usually use cast iron to cook savory food like steak, roasts, pizza, etc. I want to learn to make desserts using cast iron.

cast iron cookie cake! this is my wife's and my favorite. you just need to follow the chocolate chip cookie recipe that you like, then spread it into your cast iron

my gammy used to make me some cast iron skillet fruit cobbler, usually using blackberries. bless her soul in heaven
