I'm really curious if anyone out there has a John Wright Christmas Tree Stand. I'd love to hear how it's been working for you. Is it sturdy enough? And how does it hold up after a few holiday seasons?

I bought a John Wright stand five years ago, and it's still great. I'm still using it. It's incredibly sturdy, I've never once worried about the tree tipping, even with a big, heavy one. It's made of cast iron, so it's built to last.
I just give it a quick wipe down after the holidays, and it's good as new. It's definitely a 'buy it for life' kind of product

People rave about John Wright stands, but truth is they're heavy, overpriced antiques in disguise, tiny basins dehydrate trees fast, and heritage quality doesn't matter if your Christmas tree's a dried-out fire hazard by week two

I recently learned about this and I've been on a hunt for one too! I've been a cast iron fan and finding a similar piece feels like a real buy-it-for-life! I'm mostly curious about the design and craftsmanship! I'm curious where you've been looking?

I've used a John Wright stand for years, its super sturdy, heavy cast iron, and it holds up great season after season. Definitely built to last

I have been using it since 2018 and the cast iron base is heavy enough to keep the tree stable even with kids and pets around.

The downside is that the finish can wear a bit if it’s stored in a damp spot which is common with metal stands.
