my Smithey cast iron skillet is always dirty

my MIL bought this Smithey cast iron skillet a few months ago. I never use soap, cleaning it with just warm water and a plastic scraper made for cast iron, but it still looks dirty.
Any suggestions on how I should clean it, or if someone could recommend me some cleaning/maintenance tutorial that would be great

That is normal. You can also use a coarse salt and scrub with a paper towel or use a chainmail scrubber to lift stuck bits without harming the seasoning. Make sure that you wipe it with a paper towel and dry the pan thoroughly.
