Hey everyone, looks like the forecasts for this storm are holding steady, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest systems we've seen in years. If you haven't made it to the store yet, I’d suggest grabbing your essentials this evening before the roads start to get dicey. Please make sure you have fresh batteries, plenty of water, and a way to stay warm if the power blinks out. Stay safe and warm everyone.
 
I’m honestly terrified of the ice taking out the trees in our yard and losing power for days. I’ve already wrapped my pipes and brought the plants in, but if the roads freeze, I’m not budging until next week. Praying everyone stays warm.

I don't think we'll be affected that much but I hope everyone's safe.
 
Here I am, stuck in (New) Jersey and they're predicting 8-16 inches of the nasty stuff. At least I will not get flooded again and lose my car! I hope the power stays on. Taxes due too! 👿
 
hi guys, one extra tip, which is to charge your power banks now and download any offline maps or emergency apps while the Wi-Fi is still steady.
also, if you have an EV, maybe bump that charge limit to 100% tonight, just in case you need the extra range or want to use the car as a giant power station for your devices
 
Yes, but more snow is predicted here in Jersey! I want summer back! It's only January and we have a couple more months of cold/snowy weather coming!

Yeah, couple more months to wait. But Summer is something to look forward to.
 
...........and I don't need that fuzzy little creature in Pa. telling me there will be 6 more weeks of winter!
