It seems like the Griswold #14 are pretty rare ,how often do you come across a Griswold #14?, I'd love to stumble upon one in a pile of old cookware, but they don't seem to show up often. Have any of you ever come across one in the wild?

I tell you it's pretty rare !! It's sought after by a lot of collectors, some I heard are even willing to pay over $1,000 💰 Crazyy, I'd love to find one myself !!

Griswold #14 are soooo in demand like @suuup3r here mentioned. It's cause the larger sized are harder to find and I think there are only few since it's for commercial/large family cooking purposes? I've seen one sell at $800. Not something I'll buy tho :) There are plenty cheaper and high quality options today.

yes, I agree tht it's rare. although I've seen it on ebay or something, idk if they're legit tho'

That's very rare but my friend found one in a yard sale. It was stumbling in a random pile of cookware. He immediately bought it.

I consider collecting cast iron, old and new, a fun hobby, not an obsession. I'll stick to what I can afford and enjoy.
