Which Sacrificial Metal in Electrolysis Tank?

I will start to set up my electrolysis tank when it gets warm here in snow bound Jersey (AKA Summertime). What EXACTLY is everyone using for their sacrificial metal? I'm looking for an easily obtainable chunk of metal that is either free or real cheap and will work well. Thanks to all. God Bless. Bob

I just grab whatever plain steel junk is lying around the garage.

I use an uncoated scrap iron. I do not recommend using stainless steel because it releases a toxic material.

I’ve bought some cookie sheets for just 25 cents in an estate sale, and this is what I have been using.
