I've been using a Lodge brush instead of chainmail for ages now. I just got a new one, but the bristles are too soft. Anyone know of any good stiff-bristle brushes with a long handle that I could try?

I had the same problem after I moved to LA and got new cast iron pans. My Lodge brush was too soft and didn't clean well. I switched to the OXO Good Grips Cast Iron Brush, it has hard bristles and a long handle, and it cleans without hurting the seasoning. I think it is still in Amazon. It works great!

Try Camp Chef stiff bristle grill brush
It should be better than the Lodge ones.
oh yeah, they're designed for serious cleanup on grill grates, which is basically the toughest cast iron out there. Definitely way stiffer than a standard Lodge dish brush! Let us know how the length is though, that's usually the only catch

+1 @tiptiptoe I was also using a Lodge brush before and it has always been a battle, especially when removing the food residue. My friend suggested using a Cuisinel brush.

Just get the full kit.

Anvil Stainless Steel stripping brushes are good too.
