I do mine using breasts because I like the protein. It's just using olive oil, adding salt, pepper, and garlic powder + paprika for the color. Add thyme and rosemary too not just for the garnish but for the taste also. Sear it in cast iron, squeeze lemon and that's it. Plain and simple huh?

Yeah, would try this recipe definitely. Can i swap the garlic powder with real garlic? It's something in garlic powder that knocks me off, i prefer the real deal.:)

Heat oil in your cast iron over medium-high heat and sear 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs for 5 to 7 minutes until crispy, then flip the chicken, put the skillet in the oven, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the internal temperature raeches 165°F. This will give you the ideal combination of crispy skin and juicy meat, perfect for breaking in your new skillet. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, and any other spices you like.

Have you tried cast iron baked chicken? Just chicken with paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic, unsalted butter, and fresh thyme heated in 450F.

Anything chicken I'm in. Reading your recommendations. Need the full recipe to try them out. I'll look them up online.
