I just watched a very interesting video I found online. It shows several companies making cast iron skillets. I didn't get the name of the video, but it showed Field company, Smithey Ironware, Butter Pat Industries (bought out by Yeti), Yeti, Fine X (bought by Lodge) and Lancaster Cast Iron. Some showing cast iron skillets that are cast or finished smooth. Yeah, most are expensive, but seem to be worth it. Just a heads up to iron skillet collectors and users and good to watch. God Bless.
