We had a turducken once when living in Louisiana, and several boneless chickens stuffed with boneless Cornish game hen. My ex-wife would do the boneless chickens, but never really cared for them all that much. It's almost Thanksgiving. How do you prepare your Thanksgiving bird?
My family serves it classic... slow-roasted but I've had deep-fried turkey before and I liked it too. Anyone here tried Turducken?
I prefer slow roast aside from the fact that it keeps the meat tender. I always love to see a lot of drippings, which I can make into a tasty gravy.
My family prefers marinating the turkey overnight and roasting it with lots of vegetables. How about you?
